It's hard to keep that group together. Players and coaches will get poached. Especially when it's a small market team and the owner doesn't want to break the bank. That's why there are a lot of one and done teams or teams going to the Finals and lose and never go back again like OKC.

Thank you to Charles and the TNT crew as a whole for calling out (though not naming names, we know who they're referring to) the other national media for their continued disrespect to the Nuggets. Even after the sweep, the other main NBA network had nonstop videos about Lebron and the Lakers, the Lakers off-season plans, how good the Lakers were in being swept. One woman said the chip in the Nuggets shoulder was "manufactured" as they proceeded to barely talk about the team that just got a sweep to the Finals. Lebron nutrider Windhorst had an hour long livestream after the game where I swear they only mentioned the Nuggets for about 8 minutes and the rest was all Lakers and Lebron. Their morning shows were around the clock Lebron and Lakers, they even ran a segment where they acted shocked at the accusation they are biased and disrespectful towards all the teams and markets not LA, NY or Boston. And once again, their lead voice said outright he didn't want to go to Denver. When did sports media become all about what these millionaire hot take artists want exclusively and where they want to go and not about actually covering the f#$!$#& teams and games?

I feel like the Nuggets are going to win the championship. The way they play, with discipline, with force, with freedom and with intensity on both ends of the floor is so infectious and they stayed together regardless of how opponents start the game
Yes I support miami but I got denver to win because miami will have a problem defending the paint with jokic and gordon on it. Jimmy is a great playoff performer but he sometimes is not aggressive and not able to score. When that happens miami is in trouble like this game 4.
The Eastern Conference teams are very weak. Whichever team that was coming out of the West will win it. It might be a sweep.

I love Chuck for this. I could not watch anything yesterday because it was killing me how every single person that covers sports was talking about the lakers being swept rather than the Nuggets sweeping the Lakers and the way they won the game/series and reached the finals for the first time in history. It insane how they can accomplish so much, prove so many people wrong and these people in media simply focus their attention on whats going to be the most clicked and the most viewed story and their own personal biases.

I'm a diehard Lakers fan, but I nearly got an aneurism when Undisputed spent half the show on the Lakers. Please stop talking about us and, especially, Lebron. We lost, Denver are spectacular, move on. Stop blaming everyone but Lebron, stop polluting the airways with highly speculative trade rumors, and stop talking about his legacy after every loss. If and when offseason moves happen, sure, but not when LeGone pretends he will retire to earn sympathy and deprive the Nuggets of their well-deserved praise. Like any other fanbase, Lakers fans are basketball fans first and foremost. We want to watch good basketball and not hear baloney about our team. The Lakers traded for a player? Tell me more, please. @Pete Peric exactly! If the NBA marketing wonks & executives are smart 🤨 they will market Joker to grow & bring back their fan base. He plays the game the way it’s meant to be played, with fundamentals & passing genius that can’t be taught. But…he’s humble & defers to team accolades, so that may not be what the NBA wants to highlight. It’d be a big departure from their usual.
That is on the National media point blank. It is time to buck that trend. Nearly 9 million watched it was a prime opportunity to do that. The Lakers put the Nuggets over in wrestling terms. It was a failure across the board to not transition to that.

to be fair his regular season numbers are subpar compared to his playoff performances. Also he's been hurt during the season too so its a lot of factors

I’m really impressed by how far along Shaq has come as an analyst. I used to find his takes confusing or half baked, but I can see that he has really taken it up a few notches.
Being a lifelong Nuggets fan, I’m 24 now, and I remember when Melo got traded watching on ESPN and it seemed like all hope was lost, then losing Coach Karl a few years later, it was rough under B. Shaw, then Malone, Murray & Jokic came!
That's right! I have been a lifelong Nuggets Fan since I was 12, I'm 53 now and after 40 years, I thought this day would never happen, but I was always hopeful. It still seems surreal.
I'm so proud of our Nuggets. They've earned this and did it the right way! NO EGOS! JUST GOALS!

The Brian Shaw era was what did it for me. Carmelo out, but i kept believing. We gonna be fine and thrive without him because we hated him and wanted to proof we didn't need him. Losing Karl was fine too, it was time we got stucked, we needed fresh ideas.
The Brian Shaw era... That era broke me. My heart was broken. At that moment i lost all hope. I said to myself every 5 games... "I'm gonna die without watching my Nuggets reach a final...or win a title. I was so depressed watching my Nuggets night after night".
Thank god Jokic saved our franchise. I cried non stop after game 4 because we did it. We finally did it. It still feels like a Fever Dream. Can't believe it. We are 4 win away from calling ourselves "NBA CHAMPIONS". I'm so proud of our team, so proud of roster. I love them all.
This is for Faried, for Ty, for Gallo, for Gary, for Monte. For every single one of those guys who helped us reach this moment. They all deserves to get a ring if we win the finals.

Nuggets fan here too. I remember the 57 win season only leading to 4-2 loss to GSW in the first round and that's how Karl was let go. That was very painful for me.

A small franchise shouldn’t have to scratch and crawl for big name superstars just to get coverage when they can be a good basketball team without those things. So true. I don't even watch the halftime/post game on ESPN, it is unwatchable. My son also had enough of the Mark Jackson's and Van Gundys that he switched it spanish broadcast (which we barely know a few words) for the game and crowds sounds and some really passionate spanish announcers. We added the DNVR watchalong on YT for a bit of English commentary from their accredited journalists and we're ESPN free now.
We're not even Bos-Mia fans and we stayed till the end last night knowing that there's only 1-2 more shows this season to see the crew. I won't be mad if it goes 6.

But on the topic of Murray not being an all star, I would say that just as he was catching his rhythm he was injured and out for a while! Around 2018/19 the all star conversation selection was hot and I don’t think he could’ve made the cut. All that being said no to take anything away from him! What defines the great players to me are the ones who show up in the playoffs! Murray has done that in the bubble and this whole postseason. He’s without a doubt a top pg/ 2 guard!

Since Shaq supports the Heat, he could be talking about him, but I think he's still taking the side of Joel has the best player, which doesn't make sense. And yes, Jokic is the best player today in NBA, he's averaging a 30 pt triple double. Or he could be talking about Giannis, I dont think there are other names close to Jokic.

Denvers win is so satisfying and proves that you can win without forming superteams, manipulating the system to stack the deck in your favor, and having faith in your team, with the organization instead of taking multiple shortcuts.
